In this lesson, you will create a textured 3-dimensional cactus using found objects and paint. **IF YOU DO NOT HAVE PAINT, YOU CAN USE ANY COLORING MATERIAL.
Remember, TEXTURE is the way something looks and feels. When painting, texture is made through details, such as lines, marks, and patterns. In art, 3-dimensional form has HEIGHT (tall), DEPTH (deep), LENGTH (wide). 3-D is the opposite of 2-D, which is FLAT.
